Last Day of School

Today is my last day teaching.  So far we have just said goodbye to the kindergarten classes,  and played a lot of games with them. They were allowed to have a run around and play outside which resulted in varying success at hula hooping .... and then we had a sing song.

We have taught them, "If you're happy and you know it", "Heads Shoulders knees and toes", "The Wheels on the bus"  and ended with a grand finale of a very spirited rendition of the hokey cokey, which always goes down well. These are the Kids from Blum House, and below, the Kids From Steven house  - as you can see there are just loads and loads of them!

This afternoon is going to be much tougher.... I have become very attached to our English Class  - I think I'd adopt every one of them if I could.  They work  and try so hard.  Geraldine and I have invested in a pack of tissues so enormous we can barely fit it in a rucksack.

We have arranged lots of fun games and puzzles for  them and also a game of pass-the-parcel, which should be fun too, but first we are having lunch with all the staff here  - I think there is going to be rather a lot of us.

More later.
