The children were a little nonplussed, but bore the whole vapid event stoically and with fairly good grace, especially considering pretty much everyone in Cambodia are pretty devout Buddhists and the other 3% of the population are Muslim.
As you can see from the photo nobody was really filled with the light of the lord afterwards... Luckily I was able to walk away before I was compelled to heckle.
The teenagers told us they will soon graduate from their Christian University and when we asked what they degree it was they got, they said it was in "being a nice person"They gave the children some sweaty looking spring rolls in polystyrene (non-biodegradable) packs before they left.
